Nothing in this section is finished, by design. Notes are fragments: an idea that has not yet become an argument, a passage from a book that deserves company, a question without an answer. Some will grow into essays; most will stay right here, and that is fine.
Notes may come in English or in Portuguese, depending on the subject.
